Beyond traditional media relations and content strategy services, I have also worked with clients to develop marketing assets that support their sales enablement and go-to market strategies. From solution briefs and data sheets to white papers and industry reports, I regularly work with clients to create effective marketing assets that drive results.

DOMAIN TOOLS

SOLUTION BRIEF

As part of their efforts to reposition themselves from a repository of archived domain information into a legitimate cybersecurity vendor, DomainTools tasked me with drafting a solution brief that would demonstrate how historical domain and DNS data can be applied to cybersecurity forensics. Over the course of two weeks, I interviewed several members of DomainTools product management and product marketing team to outline the most relevant use cases and wrote the initial draft and managed the editorial review cycle to meet an aggressive deadline ahead of the launch of their new security offering at the RSA Conference.

INDUSTRY REPORT

iovation provides fraud protection services to a number of industries but the company’s penetration in the online gambling market is where it has gathered the most data. As the Director of Brand Communications, I spearheaded the company’s first large format annual industry report which analyzed transaction data from over 100 gambling clients and identified key trends for operators. The 25 page report was delivered in a visually rich eBook format featuring informative charts and graphics that helped communicate key market trends for gambling operators. The report was supplemented by a PR campaign and webinar and within a couple of months of its release, became the top performing lead generation asset ever produced by the company.

WHITE PAPER

Concur is the global leading provider of cloud-based spend management solutions for the enterprise and was one of the market’s very first SaaS applications to gain traction in the market. At the point I worked with Concur, they were still an upstart ‘point solution’ competing with the largest ERP suites. Following the passage of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act by Congress which mandated new reporting and audit rules for public companies. I worked with Concur’s VP of Marketing to draft and publish this educational white paper targeting enterprise financial leaders to help them understand the implications of these new legal requirements and served to demonstrate how a corporate expense management solution could help provide greater visibility into their T&E spend.
